The magic number for organic referrals

How many vertical clients do you need before they naturally start referring others to you?

Agency owner Ryan Golgosky shared this with me:

"From an agency perspective, once you hit the hundred client threshold, that's where it starts to really take off. Your clients are gonna refer you, the relationships you've made with everyone in this industry… are gonna refer you."

100 clients within a tightly defined vertical market seems about right.

Especially when you're both meeting and exceeding their expectations.
