Differentiation, marketing and human evolution

A quick note about differentiation and human evolution.

Humans have evolved over millennia to notice and pay attention to differences as a survival mechanism

An example is when our ancestors lived, eating meat was rare.

It required a lot of calories (and some luck) to get.

Hunters would wait in silence for long periods to make a kill.

While they waited, they tuned out all the typical and uninteresting noise...listening for the sound of an approaching animal.

This ability to ignore everyday noise meant they could eat meat, survive and thrive.

Today, you can leverage this human instinct.

Be different in a meaningful way to your buyer.

You'll get noticed in a world of noise.

Different > same

Question to ponder:

👉 Are we effectively communicating our unique differences to our target buyer?
